Wanted 2014+ OEM Luggage

I am on the hunt for a set of luggage. I am invited by multiple people to take longer trips this year, and never really needed bags until now. I prefer OEM as opposed to aftermarket unless OEM is impossible to find or cost prohibitive.

I am a pretty optimistic guy, but I am thinking you're right on both fronts.

 

You never know. I reached out for a somewhat hard to find wheel recently and got a similar response. 2 days later it was being prepped to ship to me.

I have a 2014 VFR800 and gave up on finding OEM side cases. I bought Hepco & Becker Junior 30 sidecases and quick release mounts from ChromeBurner. The price was reasonable and included shipping. The quality is good. The cases look decent with my pearl white paint. A reasonable alternative? I should add that I would have considered Givi but they apparently are no longer selling the side case racks for the 14+.

 

Those look good. Do recall what you have into the entire setup $ wise?

 

ChromeBurner charged 984 Cdn$ (735 US$) for the sidecases, racks and one liner bag. No charge for shipping by FedEx. I paid 125 Cdn$ in Canadian sales taxes on delivery.
There is a US supplier for H&B called Moto Machines. I've no idea about their pricing.

I expected it, but less than 24 hours was quick, even for me.

 

I was in the same position and posted a wanted ad here.
I've had 2 clowns try to scam me, and quite possibly a third just messaged me.
You really have to beware on here-and it's so sad that those completely devoid of morales prey upon an enthusiast site.

Ha I've been looking for a top case for an 8th gen on here for a while, had 3 guys reach out and try to scam me. A fourth may or may not have been real but he stopped responding...
