I'm with Mr. Smith, everything I pick up seems to need a 1k man hours to make it rideable. I was recently asked, which of my bikes I like to ride... "the one that runs" was my reply. I just keep riding the Hawk and ST to keep sane. Highjack over.

That is very awesome dude, you make some wise choices on your bikes!!

Unlike the signature on the KTM... if you end up buying the I, Robot MV Agusta F4, and Will Smith signed the gas tank... don't wipe it off!

Have to decide if im putting the stock rear Lic Plate hanger and tail lights back on it (I have it). This one is pretty decent quality and quite slick, but its not OEM. Probably jus leave it for now. As long has I have the original in hand, my OCD can be appeased.

If the plate holder looks like I think it does... nope.

Edit: Not as bad as I thought, but still looks like an afterthought. Like the previous Gen CBR1000RR... just not nearly as bad. Keep the OEM in a box, don't think you have too many rainy days or muddy roads in mind for this one.

Edit II: Oooof. Looked at some more pics. It is as bad as I thought.

Yea, your right, its not gonna cut the mustard. Ill be putting the OEM back on at some point (especially now you have said that). Seems like a good rainy day project.

I will bet a PO cut the wires for the lights. the OEM tail lights still have half the OEM plug attached, so im sure someone will have chopped off the other half that was on the bike.

Have to see if I can get a replacement and do it right if thats the case.

I have the front and rear side reflectors too, so ill likely put her all back to stock.

Pillion seat and foot pegs will stay off.

Rear tire is just about passable, but when I put her on the road ill be putting a new one on. (Diablo Rosso II). 175HP needs good rubber.

My MT-10 came with a fender eliminator which certainly tidies that back of the (quite ugly) bike a bit. I liked it until my first long and rainy ride. Back to stock now. IMG_2046.jpg

Ill be putting the OEM lic plate/signals back on it soon. Today I found that the OEM electrical plug is still intact on the bike so, it should be as simple as 4 bolts and an electrical connector.

Before & After shots of the tail with the aftermarket lights and lic plate hanger and back to OEM. "what is that ugly aluminum bar with red reflectors?" you ask....well folks thats transport Canada's way of messing up the look of our bikes up here, all in the name of safety.

put the front reflectors back on too, cleaned the chain.

Went to pull off the Arai stickers but noticed the one on the right is actually covering a small scratch. (I suspected as much). I may try to get a nicer orange KTM sticker or something else thats less obvious to cover it.

Not the worst. I think I would ditch the flying reflectors tho.

    How does the plate mount

I like the OEM lights better.... can't judge those rectangular reflectors without a side shot.... seems a bit odd they're rectangular. Perhaps that bracket needs to be black?

it would look better black but then im upsetting my OCD by going non OEM.

the front reflectors are rectangular as well. You can see those at the Bottom of the fork leg

The Lic plate itself bolts thru the flying reflector bracket holes - the aluminum eye-sore. Seems that KTM's answer to the Canadian reflector rule wasn't well executed.

So, do you have to use spacers behind the plate to clear the bolts?
