My RAT motor has to be happy with 17 gallons of 91 octane… basically from my house to the gas station!

Unfortunately no… State says it needs to be Kaliforniakov emission compliant for 1982. American Honda would have to write me a letter, on their letterhead , stating it’s not only 49 state compliant but also California. Go figure we live in another country apart from the other 49 states…. Or I can try to get it inspected by a certified California smog facility that would have to run various test and dyno runs to ensure that the exhaust emissions aren’t going to kill some unknown green frogs in the state. That would be big bucks.
Soooo…. I’m going to have my brother that lives in Phoenix register it there under his name and I’m done. Insurance may be an issue but he can probably name me as additional insured.

After that you can ride it… if all else fails I’ll sell it even though I don’t want to ….. BASTIDS!!!!!!

Jesus Fucking Christ. It's a fucking 1982 collector motorcycle. Can't some common sense come into play... oh wait... bureaucrats involved? Nope!

I bet that was a fun day at the DMV or DOL. A bunch of typing... long pauses... more typing.... long pause. Then pushes their glasses up and says, "Um... actually..."

I hate this kind of shit.

Perfect description of my morning except that they wanted to see the bike without body work … so off came everything and I put it on my trailer and drove it to the CHP office. Oh and it was raining … I’m so happy that I’m at least saving the lives of some little green frogs

My misunderstanding… I have an Oregon title … they are cool. It’s the country of California that is not allowing my CB1100r to be registered in the great state of Kaliforniakov!
    So , stupid California

Here's my summer beast, pic the day I bought it in Jan 2017 , Camaro SS "Fifty ". 6.2L 6 Spd Manaul, 455Hp, 455 lbl ft , launch control and no lift shift.

dealer delivered it from the show room to my garage without the wheels even touching snow.

Fuel economy is incredibly good for a big engine, highway is about 30 mpg.

My Son and I jointly owned this 454 SS, it was the worst fuel economy ever, 3 Spd Auto in a 454, 6mpg at best

The Camaro looks great in that color. I'm a big sucker for a Charcoal Metallic.

Oh... excuse me... Nightfall Metallic Gray.

This is my little commuter. 5.7l, 380hp with shaker hood (ram cold air), sport suspension and all the interior goodies minus a sunroof. First upgrade will be hellcat brembos. Maybe later this year.
