    As a hint the only way to eat Vegemite is on thick fresh toast very thinly smeared on copious amounts of butter. :smile:

    My bosses wife is from Melbourne, so she always has some on hand. She requested that I try it. I will say that I think it is an acquired taste. I did not try it on anything though, only a tiny bit smeared on a knife. Let's just say that I don't feel the urge to run out and find some. Yeah, I heard about the Aussie mite thing. Isn't that something about being made by an australian company in australia, as opposed to being made by kraft USA.

    So, are you saying that you do not eat it by itself, or without toast AND butter?

    I can appreciate this at face value as humorous.
    The underlying stupidity of a host of people directly or indirectly funded by tax dollars takes the smile off my face. I wish unrelenting public humiliation to the smacker, smackee, and mayor for years to come.
    Unbelievable...and a public official rasing the bar on the antics is shameful.

    I have no problem with US Kraft owning Vegimite whats dissapointing is the ingredients are now made in China. :mad:

    Although I have seen some die hard Vegimite nutters eat it straight I have always eaten it on fresh buttered bread or toast. :smile:

    Not surprising considering the shenanigans that go on in law courts - is she going to be nominated for an Oscar in over-acting! Almost expecting to see Mr T charge in with his tank and offer her a Snickers bar (amusing TV ad in Australia for Snickers). :rolleyes:
