Some one in Ontario Canada please go and buy this Sabre. Seems a nice bike and you'll save me from myself. Im sooooo tempted to go and get it but I have no space left and, well , ya know, I dont really NEED it.

at $2500 CAD asking (Safety Certified), you'd likely get it at $2000 or better

Nice looking for sure, but I'm over my '83 V65 Magna days.... I could only go if I could borrow that bike magnet truck of yours, lol.

Ive asked if the right side is as good as the left since there are no pics of the right side. Any cracks , scratches etc and also asked if the tail section, or any other part, was repainted. That tail looks a slightly different shade of gray.

Good eye. Looks like he wrapped it maybe ? makes me wonder if the whole bike was painted too.

Fake Carbon Fiber is never a good start to evaluating a bike's life and owner(s).

My favorite color too for that model.

We put together an 85 like that brand new with a complete paint matching Hondaline full fairing and saddlebag kit when I worked for Honda.

We also put a maroon/silver colored one out on the floor and NOBODY wanted it. It may still be there at the dealership now LOL.

Super nice bike but I am not too sure about the 1st gen cams stigmata. Report back if he takes your low ball offer!

It would have to be less than $2k

I believe the cam issues were fixed by 85.. could be wrong

It appears to leak something profusely.. didn't even bother to move the bike to take the picture?? Maybe it's just the clutch slave. Could be cross shaft pushrod seal or shifter seal

Or show up with 1200 and offer 1000

The only thing I see that is desirable is the paint scheme (if original) and that it's the 1100.

The V65 Magna was the first "FAST" bike I rode when I started working at the Honda dealership in College. The rear end would rise and then it went into warp speed. Jesus Christ did we terrorize the U-District on test rides.

My Magna was in rough shape when I got it, rusty exhaust, aluminum pitted, etc. It was never going to be a full restoration project, but I did as much as I could..... That Corbin seat was very comfortable, they don't pad them like that any more. But, there isn't a real demand for these now, they are lot of work to restore....
I was wishing I had a Sabre, which had shorter forks, etc.... Now this goes beyond my usual style, but I admit to lusting after a good Magna VF750C, cruiser style..... hopefully I don't get the urge to borrow straycat's truck.

Anyway, when I finally got it done, it looked like this.....

IMG_4228.jpeg Well Stray my FJR buddy bought this bike for $2250. Certified with new tires. Its in very good and original condition. I rode it today, my first V65 ride and it is an F-ing missile. That 2nd to 3rd gear is explosive. It is very '80's and got alot of attention by the other Old Bastards like me riding today. Thanks for the heads up Mr. Cat!
