    Hi All,

After doing an oil change with mineral 15w40, I read in the manual that our 4th gen takes a semisynthetic oil. (I know, read manual first!)
Will my engine implode/meltdown or, shock horror, go slower?
I don't have easy access to bike specific semisynthetic.
    Steve

If it is the appropriate grade from a reputable manufacturer - the bike should be fine, all though mineral oil may degrade faster than semi synthetic.

avoid any oil that says "energy conserving", not good for bikes.
