I think I have some off a 500 Magna if you are still looking. No idea if they are the same. They sure look like it though.

Definitely! Are you able to test them with an ohm meter?

Those have a return policy. For about $7 dollars in shipping, that's hardly getting burned.

And while having the units test within acceptable parameters is a nice start, it's not a guarantee. At the Honda shop, we often had units test bad, but work perfectly fine. And units test good, that were bad.

Let me dig them out of the attic and test them, but as the Cap'n said there may not be any guarantee the reading will matter.

They came off a Magna and according to the internets it is the same part for the Magna and the Interceptor.

I bought the Magna for the engine and it did get it to briefly fire on starting fluid so I guess they work??????? No way to know unless you install them.

That's the issue. My bike will start and run, but the hotter it gets, the worse it runs due to the resistance climbing in the coils. If possible, I would like a resistance reading of them just so I know what I'm getting into.

Sirfoxx....I found the part and it tested ok, but I really don't think I should sell it.

The Magna it came off of was in a flood during Hurricane Harvey and any electrical off it is suspect.

Sorry, I should not have gotten your hopes up.

The coils are sealed so it being flooded shouldnt be an issue. What was the reading on them? Anything is better than the ones I have.
