No Brake Light w/ Front Brake

Hi VFRers! I just noticed that my rear brake light does not come on when engaging the front brake. It does work when using the rear brake.

Any places where I should check first? Your help is appreciated!

Check the wires are plugged into the front brakelight switch. located on the front brake lever assembly. Easy way to test is to disconnect from switch and touch together. It could be a faulty switch which may be rectified by a bit of wd40 or contact cleaner. Switch itself is held on by 2 screws.
