ya never know. this one could have a special set of HRC sodium-sulfur oxcalitic indestructible case-hardened valves.

 

The guy has several listings and FB and CL and most are really nice 80's vintage bikes. Just asking too much.

He has a 84 CB700SC Nighthawk S and a couple of 83 Suzuki GS1100's in really good shape.

These listings have been around for months and no takers. I wish I knew where he was buying the bikes from. He appears to be a flipper.

I had 82K miles on my 85 VF500F before I gave her up. :-(

 

on the second or the third engine ?

 

first one. The JB weld held the engine for about 40k miles then the crankcase developed a longer crack that couldn't be patched up. If I didn't live in an apartment at the time I would've kept the bike...

 

Still for sale.....Down to $1700.00 now

 

Mine still has original engine at 46,000 km = 30,000 miles. Then again, not asking $2500 (US) either.
