Idle adjustment screw

Does anyone know the piece number of the mount for the idle adjuster screw? I'm tired of mine just flopping in the wind.

Good fucking question. I can't find it. I was certain it would be with the cowlings or frame. Not listed with the cable adjuster (Screw Set).

Not really sure. I managed to find one in a manual but cant seem to corollate the image with anything in the parts catalog on partzilla

You may be right. I found a picture in the manual that shows it.

Well, It kind of looks like that piece but also has a hanger looking like piece that branches off of it. I'll keep digging in the manual. It doesn't list a piece number or anything else that i've noticed after that one photo. Its in it a couple more times but that's the best defined picture I can see.

 

Maybe yours has broken off.

This may solve your flopping around idle adjuster (just sinful I tell you!) its a faring bracket with a loop to hold the white wheel of the adjuster. I believe there is a bracket in this listing but I could be wrong. I had trouble making it larger to see. Good luck

This one definitely has your bracket, I had a bike with a broken loop and bought one too many many moons ago
