I love RC 51’s. LDH who is a member on here but hardly ever post has one of the nicest ones. He runs KYLE Racing out in California and has put every top end part ever made for the RC 51 on his bike. It’s a masterpiece.

My bike has a few parts from Dan Kyle, Mike was the guy I spoke with. This was about 16 years ago. I sent my forks to them. He's the guy that came up with the "one liter Duc eater" name and logo. He did a lot of track days around Cali. Last I remember he was on a CBR1000rr.

LDH stands for Lord Duck Hunter from the days he would eat Ducati’s for lunch. Lol
He still has a ton of info about CBR’s and all sorts of other info in his old Rogue Racing website His main track bike now is an unbelievably tricked out Kawi 1000. Every Ohlins, Brembo, Arata etc you can get for it.
He has about 10 different bikes INSIDE his house. His wife’s R6 is very nicely sorted and the shops R6 is a work of art with all the best bits.

It's coming back to me now....Rc51 Owners Group United Enthusiast. Lord Duck Hunter! My 51 had a ROGUE sticker on it when I bought it. They fabricated a lot of parts, I had a Kyle link on the rear suspension. He sure is passionate about bikes. Thanks for the stroll down memory lane. Does he make any VFR parts?

Kyle racing is he US largest imported of Ohlins, Brembo etc of high end parts. A lot of the online and brick motorcycle businesses get their stock from them.
If a high end part is made for the VFR they probably carry it. The only thing I got for mine was a killer deal from Mike on a Power commander.

So I have not done a track day since covid. The CBR 1000 was neglected, only put a tag on and rode it to work occasionally. It has only had Rec 90 in it but the fuel started to go bad and the secondary injectors were not running 100%. So I did an old school cleaning on them. Big syringe, hose connected to the injector with carb cleaner and a 9v battery. Ghetto but works great if you don't have the $200.00 Motion Pro tool. Ran the snot out of her this weekend, holy crap is it fast! I have a few isolated areas out in the farms where I can clear her throat. I'm torn about selling it. I need a new set of slicks and they just closed my local track. I can get a ridiculous price for it, even more if I parted it out. I'm going to buy a new gen Toyota Runner next spring (it will be my 4th) and they are going to be expensive. Stashing away cash to pay for it. BUT the CBR is as perfect as you can get , spent a lot of time and money making it a wonderful track bike. Miami Homestead is 1.5 hours away, love the track but there are a lot of ass hats who think they are Rossi that ride it. Jennings in N Fla is a wonderful track but thats 6 hours and hotels.

I don't want to sell any of my bikes but may have to. But in the long run it will be great to buy a new bike.

A few years ago I had a 2000 VFR and a 2002 RC51, the one in my avatar pic. I rode the RC51 WAY more than the VFR, even on weekend getaways. There's just something about the performance and handling of the 51 that I desired.

I really love RC 51s. Affectionately called the pig. LDH who is on this site occasionally had the website rogue racing dedicated to CBR 1000‘s and RC 51s. He was the master of RC 51‘s and Cbr‘s. He runs Kyle racing East now. He ran KYLE racing in California for many years.
I think that site is still up and has a ton of info on it.

Was going to ride the CBR yesterday but it looked like it could rain in the afternoon so I rode the VFR. Glad I did as the CBR still has slicks on it.
