For my '86 700F, should there be more trim pieces, inside the lower part of the fairing?
I've only got the one piece on each side (please see attached photos), held in place with a Phillips head screw at the top. At highway speeds, the unsecured lower part flaps up.
Rather than have the piece break off, until I get more pieces, or way to secure what I have, I'll just run without the two upper pieces I have.
    Thanks.

They should be longer and the fairing stay has a mount that appears to have been eliminated.

    Captain 80s,
Have you ever come across a close approximation of the foam edging on those panels?
Making moulds of those panels and eventually carbon fibre replicas is on my "to do" list.
That should be pretty straight forward but not sure where I will find the edging. I'm sure there is something somewhere that would be a reasonable looking replacement but its kind of like looking for replacements of those fricken tail section grommets. Lots of not close enough and wrong turns.

I haven't looked, I've never needed any. But they use it in other locations on Interceptors.

I might have a couple extra for the VFR, depends if a set of used inner panels that I bought have them when they arrive.

If you had a right, I'd be all over it. I did recently make a great deal on a set from a very cool dude in England. We are just waiting for shipping to normalize a bit.
