oil and filter thread

Well, I posted this up because it may be of interest or help to someone's knowledge base. If Dino is what we're used to, and if synthetic is better, you'll have to decide if semi is in-between. Would seem so to me. My 5th Gen manual says oil that meets API SE, SF or SG, nothing about motorcycle specific..... and all of those Dino's are obsolete. Whatever you use in your bike is up to you.

It was an interesting read and I wasn’t putting it down, merely making an observation.


I have something from the guy at silkolene or somewhere like that explaining all about oil. I’ll have a dig around and see if I can find it again.

I only put in what is recommended.
