Sorry for the delay. Went by the D-Store yesterday evening and found most of the bargain bin items were gone. They did have a few sets on sale but your Druids looked to be regular price ($209.95). That being said, they did have a few other styles:

    Druid S-ST $179.95
    Carbon Cover S-ST $149.95
Pro Metal RS $187.46 (These were marked down from $234.95)

I hope this is useful info. They do have a sign in the store saying they match other US store prices.

    Cheers!

The labels add almost as much hp as the stickers on your bike. I just got a job at my local Cycle Gear, so I have a feeling my employee discount is going to result in both the decimation of my bank account and the covering of my body in lots more armor/leather. With all the recreational riding I've done in the last year living in TN, a full suit is probably going to be a good investment at some point.

I had the opportunity to meet her and even went on a group ride with her (and buds with a local group I am part of). Brittany is working with the MSF and gear companies (and others) to promote the use of protective gear.

I'm an ATGATT guy, even if it's just a quick local ride. I have always been this way and my daughter made me promise as well when she realized what can happen after skinning her knee falling of her bicycle.
Went for a 2 day ride last week with a friend. He wore shorts, muscle shirt and a half helmet on his 1000 vstrom. I told him that my daughter had said that he is to wear his gear but he didn't. Rode for almost 8 hours in the hot humid sun the first day. Customs guy asked if "I was hot wearing all that stuff?" . lady in a diner and a guy at a gas station also asked me, I was. My friend laughed at me at one point. When we got to the hotel he went to the pharmacy to get sunburn medication... He needed a lot of it. That night he hardly slept due to the pain. The ride home the next day for him was awful, at least I convinced him to buy a long sleeved t-shirt at the local Walmart so it wouldn't get worse.
For me, I had a shower when we got to the hotel, slept like a baby all night, enjoyed my breakfast and the ride home.
There are many reasons to wear gear. For me having a 12 year old daughter that likes to hug, a wife, a job I need to do to pay the bills and an dislike of pain are just a few of them.
You can't fix stupid and you can only try to educate so many times but in the end everyone makes their own decisions, my friend has always been this way and probably always will, until he goes down and then just maybe he will understand.

Thank-you Brittany and Rock The Gear for doing what you are doing. Your message is important for ALL motorcyclists. Speaking as an experienced rider I am always seeking ways of: improving my riding skills, staying as safe as possible, becoming a better rider along with enjoying my bike(s). Your story is an effective tool which will help me and many other riders.
    Cheers

If I don't feel like donning the gear, I don't ride. That's the rule. If you're too lazy to put on gear, your head isn't in the right place to be riding anyway.

Just read Brittny’s original story for the first time, my God what she went through and still has that desire to ride. Should be required reading for anyone with a bike that takes friends as passengers.
Hope she keeps up with her helping others.

Back in the mid 80's I went down hard on the Angeles Crest. Some car had sprung an oil leak and saturated the middle of the road. I went to move from the left side to the right side for an up coming curve and my VF750 went down suddenly on it's right side. Fortunately my only injury was my right thumb which got folded back from the bars snapping out of my hand. After I finally got up after sliding down the road on my right side in the oil (fortunately), I checked my self out. The sliding ground through the side of my right boot, ground off the visor hinge, scuffed up leather jacket and my gloves had brass buttons on them that got so hot I had blisters on my hand! I was wearing jeans and I knew they were the weakest link so I put my hand down and tried to lift my butt off the pavement. My pants leg was soaked from the oil.

From that point on, I always wore all my equipment, no matter how hot it was out.
