The ROW models have "Flash to Pass" (as well as hazards, and a few other nice things). I was wondering if anyone has added at least the Flash to Pass functionality and been able to install the switch and make the necessary wiring connections.

I have a new switch assy (lft) waiting for install that has a flash to pass button. I believe that function is all in the switch.

IIRC, from reading here or VFRD, there will be some slight rewiring needed to the left switch assembly as the US and UK models are different. I explored this and will continue at a later date after the left switch is procured. Left UK switchgear is $$$.

I also believe switchgear from the police version may also work with mods.

All in all, be prepared to whip out some schematics on both to make the decisions. Remember, US and UK (unsure if a greater European or general model exists) have different lighting regulations which might, big might, have led to the existence or non-existence of the switch such as beam pattern, height, flooding..

Keep in mind also that it's on/off cycles that wear out bulbs not burn time if your using expensive bulbs.
