As the title suggests, this relates to what choices there are for the 5th gen, just wondering as I feel stuck, I know black widow, remus, staintune, delkevic, blue flame, are there any more obscure makes floating about that I could have look for or keep an eye out for?

If you are after a complete system, I would not go with delkevic. Their headers look poorly optimised in terms of flow. Black Widow looks a lot better in that regard.

For the end can, Black Widow is also a solid choice. I used one of theirs most of last year, and have nothing negative to say about it. Very solid piece of kit.
I also really like the GPR Deeptone. Looks great, sounds good and comes in either standard or high mount. And they have a EC-approved, road legal version if that kind of thing matters to you (BW also have UK road legal cans).

I have a Staintune slip on for sale in the classifieds. Great proven design and it looks/sounds great

Hey, so I managed to source an almost mint carbon can co. Stainless oval slip on for £30, in a bundle with a good condition tank as replacement for my dented one for £50, just need to drill out the tip and flip the can over to hide the little dent that's below the hangar, [IMG][IMG]

Hi there. Lextek do a full system that I have fitted. It looks like a real piece of quality kit. However I had difficulties in getting the system to fit, it fowled the rear brake pedal and was very difficult to get squarely onto the exhaust ports. Also the front lower coolant pipe had to be rotated slightly to avoid contact with one of the headers. In the end I had to enlist the services of a local bike shop to get it on. It does look good now its on. I don't know if I was just unlucky or they are generically difficult to get on the bike. You can also choose a range of silencers to go with the headers in a range of finishes to suit your budget. If you do get one be warned about the fitting issues.

That really does sound nice mate, was that you on your viffer? And I've get the carbon can co. one that'll do for now, but I will be looking to expand my collection of endcans, and staintune is certainly one of the more preferred sounds I like
