Finally got around to color matching the hard bags. Got to spend the day adjusting the new DMR suspension. Alot less shock spring (i lost weight) and a bunch more fork preload. Dampening was pretty darn close as delivered. Going to be over 50deg tomorrow so I'll be out!

Let me know how you like the suspension, we just found out our project bike does not have the VFR original shock in it so we will be looking for...........something

The DMR suspension is night & day better than stock especially if you do both front and rear. I bought my 6th gen shock out right, no exchange. Much nicer piece IMHO. Pretty darn close on the setup out of the box though stiff but thats likely cause I keep losing weight (job stress i guess)

Be interesting to see this finished as I have polished the rims on my '02, still debating the colour to go with though, the bike is silver by the way.

What brand are those front rotors and where did you get them? They look sharp!

They are Ebay, I believe Akashi. Thought I'd give them a try. No complaints thus far. Btw, decided I don't like the silver and black. Tires come off and going all black with a body match brandywine pinstripe. Fine like 3 mm.

I know all black is really in now but I’m not a fan. I wanted an 07’ RWB 25th anniversary edition but the black frame I didn’t like. I found an 04’ priced really well and bought RWB fairings with the savings. It won’t be a true 25th anniversary so I won’t put the anniversary emblem on the tank but the look is just beautiful.

I always thought they fucked up that year. The R/W/B needed the anodized "bare" frame and silver wheels and that dark red would have looked killer with the black frame and black wheels. WTF?

I almost convinced the Sales Manager to let me swap the bodywork on two brand new bikes.

LOL, you should do this in photoshop..... wonder what it would look like with matching red pearl wheels and a thin black pinstripe.... or no stripe.

Do you know how to lower the front triple clamps? Or where I can look?
