I think "Hoarder" would seem to indicate I keep them tucked away somewhere unused and unappreciated...I guarantee you, They are well cared for, and well ridden :)

I can vouch for all of that! Especially the well ridden part. It's fun chasing you around Nova Scotia pfmwally! I like (for us) how it's not about top speed any more but rather who can scrape off more foot pegs. Ahh the benefits of being "an older" rider on a VFR!!!

You need to introduce yourself by starting a new post in the "Introductions" forum! Be sure to upload some photos of your VFRs.

63 here, and still riding my RWB VFR. As they say, age is just a number. Last year I sold my BMW K1200 GT to a rider that was 80! He didn't look or act it. I told him he was an inspiration to me.

I’m 64, turning 65 in February, also celebrating 50 years of riding come May 1. My brother is 67 and still rides on road and off road, as do I.

I'm re-posting here I think. 64 1/2. In July, I officially become and old fugger and will collect Old Age Security, get a tax break on my property taxes, seniors discount at IHOP and have an excuse for being grumpy after all these years.

Where's my cane for chriisake anyway?

Randy, the only advice I can give you is to never wake up Grumpy! Always let her sleep in a little longer while you make the coffee. :p

I think that you have been a member of VFRW longer than I! With the list of "bikes in your stable", I for one would love to get to know more about you and your rides. Please introduce yourself in the Introductions Forum, and most importantly include some photos.

I'm going to be 67 in May. I have a number of bikes including a 1984 German VFR 750 that I raced back in the 80's. I love riding it. It's comfortable, handles great, fast enough, and looks super cool. I also ride a Suzuki GSXR1000 and GSXR750, a 1982 Katana, a Harris endurance racer, and a Ducati. I do track days and I'm thinking of racing in AHRMA along with my long time buddy Dale Quarterley.

Was selling off some 5th Gen VFR parts last year. The first person to show up was 81 years old and rides a Y2k (yellow) VFR. He didn't even get his motorcycle license until he was 75, and that was at his wife's suggestion! That guy is my new hero!!
