    Hey everyone,
I just purchased a near immaculate 1999 F1x from a nice chap outside Dallas, TX. this will be my 2nd VFR in 20 years. I just love'em.

I am an older gentleman who carries out all my bike maintenance and rides ATGATT all year round ( mostly!). The VFR is likely to be used as a run around, daily commuter while I save the pennies for another ST1300 that shall be used as my long distance hauler.

    Previous rides are :
    ZZR1100, ZZR600, ST1300 (x2), VFR800

Will probably meet some of you at meets as I am that guy who rides 160 miles for a burger!, because I can.

let me be the first to welcome you to the best VF/VFR site on the web! We tend to be a group of "shade tree mechanics", so you should fit right in. However, there are some who are a bit more OCD, and could not possibly work under a tree for fear of bird droppings landing on an otherwise pristine 10-35 year old (give or take) work of love.

If you get a chance, post a photo or two of your past and current VFRs. We can't seem to get enough.
