    Hello, anyone out there know of a good tutorial with pics on how to remove rear shock from a 09 VFR800ABS?

    Did you try a YouTube search? "Honda VFR ,6th Gen, Rear Shock removal" or something like that.

    There are links to PDF Service manuals over on that site too. That is where I got mine. We used to have them here to but those links broke several years ago and they were never fixed.

    Yeah, I know, I have the manual but as we all know the manual is not always the easiest way to go...there are short cuts sometimes...when changing my stator I found a thread describing how to ignore the manual and turn a huge job into a simpler one...thanks for your reply
