Chaz on a V4 will be very interesting. And the fly weight Marco should be fast on it too.

I believe that Melandri is out and Bautista (From MotoGP) will be taking his place. Ducati feel he has what it takes to make it happen next year. We’ll have to wait and see.

Congrats to Marc Marquez and Honda for winning not only the Japanese GP but also sealing the deal on the season championship!

Here's the full race - watch it quick before it disappears (the world championship is cinched at about the 51:30 mark):
    e

Better luck next year Ducati :D

Damn! Fabio got his Moto2 win taken away on a technicality. His post race tech inspection found his tire pressure to be below the 1.4 Bar minimum. So he was disqualified and Peco got the win but it also means Oliveira got 3rd, a small consolation but he still has a high bill to climb. Not quite the run away win of MM but looks like he’ll get the crown if his performance stays like it is.

Speaking of Bautista, looks like Ducati will have him substituting for Lorenzo at Philip Island. Rabat’s sub, Torres, is actually getting along alright, so not a bad thing for him to leave MV early and come over to MotoGP to finish off the year.

Good thing Marquez was able to seal the deal in Japan. Bizarre mashup with Zarco knocked him out of Australian GP with no points. Congrats to Vinales/Yamaha and Iannone/Suzuki for taking 1st and 2nd.

The best race of the weekend was the second Supersport, down to the final corner the championship was touch and go, great double save by Clusell though but Cortez got the points he needed to win ...just

Unlucky for Clusell, he tried hard enough but when Mathias shot from 3rd straight into the lead threw his rhythm completely

Very interested to see what Alvaro can do on P V4 next season. Ducati is throwing the kitchen sink at that project and Alvaro proved last weekend in PI that he is up to the task. Pirro has been testing nonstop and Ducati Corse seem to be a different animal these days.

My WSBK props for this year go to VDM, hands down. Should be exciting to watch both his, and Yamaha's, progress next year.

VDM is another guy that was riding the Honda at 110% and doing just OK. Much better with Yamaha now and next year they should be a major contender to big Green and Duc. Sure wish Honda would get back in the game.

When you're winning MotoGP, rider, constructor, and team championships like they have been, you would think the WSBK team has to suffer somewhere. I do think that Honda has found their direction with their complete package in MotoGP now and that SHOULD free up some engineering folks and money to go about repairing their WSBK reputation. I stopped waiting and went a different direction, back to the future, with an RVF400RR. To say I have my doubts, would be a gross understatement. Fuggem, if you can't buy it, build it.

Malaysia GP starts tomorrow, or tonight, I guess. PI was a Honda no show. I'm more irritated that Cal is out than anything else.

Too funny. At today's pre-race press conference, Iannone's social media question was "What are your 5 must have items in your bag?"
His response..."Interesting...Cap, sunglasses yes, for sure underwear, computer and most important, condom."

Iannone will never match the seamless delivery of Cal, lol. Cal is the professor.

John McGuinnes could deliver some zingers too. MCN mag would print the real words he would say, not the edited crap the US mags would print.

Moto3 was easily the most brutal of all the classes, Martin won the title by sheer determination, force of will, and some fine racing luck. Considering he destroyed his wrist at Brno with 7 races to go, and came back at the next race in Austria and managed to stick himself on the box. That is straight nails. Phenomenal year by the entire top 10.

There's brutal and then there's being an outright DICK! Glad the other rider got his revenge.
