Been thinking about getting one for my bike.
Anyone have any experience with any of these?

Nope. Are those stand alone units? Are you wanting a tracker or a GPS?

I just switched to Garmin chart plotter on my boat. I have been a Lowrance guy forever and the Garmin unit is VERY nice, especially in the mapping and navigation realm. They have been strong in hiking too, I have the Garmin (I think its the Montana model) that I use for back country navigation and I have a RAM mount for it on the VFR.

To me a tracker can be a GPS, but a GPS isn't necessarily a tracker.
To me a tracker is something that actively tracks you. A GPS can store a location and a track of where you've been,
but that's not what I consider an actual tracker. Just depends on your needs.

Ok so what I really am talking about is a LoJack.
I use my phone for directions as well, but had a friends bike stolen at work and another one pushed over or backed into.
    Thanks for all your replies

GPS is that thing that stick in you car window or to your bars with a moving map.
Tells you with a cheesy cg voice, right turn ahead towards Golden Gate Bridge.
With Lojack, you get it back. But in what condition?

You want a seeing eye security camera and a consult with Mr Smith and Mr Wesson perhaps.
    Or just, Bubba. :cigar:
