The html tags were not happy on the mac I'm using, but after I cut-n-pasted, the look is nice... does not seem as yamahamish as I'd expected. That said, I'm no fan of lights on the mirrors.

Ah, there it is! I didn't see anything at first.

It looks interesting, but I'm not sure about the mirrors either. I'd like to see a side shot of it. I do like the red though, looks like my VFR ;)

Pretty mean looking from the front. I have always liked the turn signal mirrors too.

    Me likey!

Although I like the look of TS mirrors, they sure will make a small tipover mucho' expensive. Hmm, appears to be USD forks and the fairing upper/windscreen isn't VFR large, HUGE radiator, cheap cbr-ish windscreen screws instead of the more polished VFR look of hidden ones.

I like it, but it looks a bit cartoonish in the last shot there. And it doesn't seem like it would be comfortable all day...

I see a huge aftermarket in rear fender / fender elimination kits for the new fireblade.

The exhaust does not look as ugly as I thought it would after seeing only the side-on shots.

Overall I'm in the middle of the road; neither hate or love it. Pipe is really a non-issue as everyone replaces 'em anyway. It looks like the exhaust pulses are aim right at the underside of the passengers thigh. Combined that with cramped passenger section and glove box seat cover and this should be a masochists' fantasy ride.

Interesting that the turnsignals are now no longer running lights. That sux.

Over all I think it's a nice looking bike, don't really care for the tail-light/plate assembly thingy though. Curious if the tool kit comes with a lever to dislodge the rear seat from between the passengers butt cheeks after a spirited ride.

makes you wonder why they even bother with the pillion. we all know it's an afterthought... I guess some people actually use them (like the bikini chicks at daytona) on second thought, I like having the pillions...
