The rat bike

hi guys the story of this bike is a bit funny ! This bike was imported to Cambodia by a Russian . The bike started to run bad 2 years ago . The owner brought it to a local Khmer shop and they thought it was an electrical problem so they bastardized the wire harness. The bike sat there for 6 months then the owner took it to another Khmer and they fucked it even more and the rats took care of the rest of the wire harness. I pick it up for 450$ took the heads off almost all valves were leaking quiet a lot . Now I'm rebuilding it , paint and ditching all plastics. This bike will be naked , single seater with a super low seat and I will move the shifter and brake forward . Kind of a sport bike chopper with racing slicks . I have a special bike collection all customs .

 

I fond a rat nest inside the frame and a lot of chicken bones on the engine

 

Reseating the valves

 

Clean everything, paint and putting it back together. The tank, front fender and both wheels are going candy apple red

 

Everything appart , cleaned , repaint and polish

 

Swing arm , rear brake and every nut and bolt gets a full massage !

I just gotta ask: Do you do this kind of work and other mechanical stuff for a living or is this more or a hobby to you?

I have a bike shop in Cambodia but it's more of a passion ! I love building bikes . My maine business is with Textiles but it gives me a lot of free time . The latest project were a beer cycle pulled by an Africa twin 650 , a tdm 850 street fighter almost done , cr 500 big wheel and many more in my shop

 

hmm mm, a beer cycle... :] could you by any chance maybe post a picture of that?

Yup it's a hand full with 72hp ! Every time I take it out I have a meeting with god

 

I took a lot of shit off this bike ! Abs , rear end , all plastics and the entire front . All in the garbage

 

Can someone tell me what's on those screens left and right ? I will get rid of the rpm for sure
