I just can't fathom the possibility of Nelix letting a sheep get by him unmolested.

Wow. Can't spell, can't read, twists history, and, thank goodness, lives a long ways away. All talk, no ride.

Well done, the most ironic post on the internet, a yank accusing a national of another country of twisting history.

I'd rather be called anything but an authoritarian limey with a smart mouth and small brain. Move the world forward, not backwards. Live in the present, not the past. Go ride a VFR. All talk no ride.

Hey 007, you need to chill a bit. Did you get bullied at school?
Still no answer as to why you chose your username, I can only guess Rambo was taken and your insularity offered few other options.

I think everything started going downhill when they got rid of the gear driven cams and switched to Vtec. Most VFR owners wanted a comfortable sport bike that was 50lbs lighter and 150 hp, and they never got it. I didn’t even know there was a gen 8 til I saw one on eBay.

The 8th Gen was slimmer and lighter than it's predecessor, perhaps Honda could have shed a little extra weight, but a 150hp? With that power we're entering supersport category which the VFR is not designed for. I just think the American motorcycle market, and its desires are not conducive to motorcycles enjoying longevity. For example, the original 900 Ninja, spent 3 years in the Kawasaki range in the US, in the UK it wasn't discontinued until 1996. Same with the VFR, it's still sold in the rest of the world. Perhaps Honda will revamp it in the future, who knows. Some bikes don't get the love until they're no longer available.

It didn't need 150Hp, but the comments I've always heard about the VFR for the last 25 years are, if this thing was 50 lbs lighter, and was a 1000-1200, I'd be all over it. When they finally made it a 1200, they went more towards the touring side of sport touring, I think if they went towards the sport side, it would probably be more popular here. Something like a sport touring Tuono.

I would feel inadequate too if I were living where you live in a country with a history of "losing" or needing constant help after being dominant through cruelty by monarchs for centuries. Crime didn't pay. Live with it but for goodness sakes, stay where you are.
