We sure have our share of ignorant people. A lot of them are really deserving of James bond's comments for sure. But the vast majority of Canadians do like Americans. Auzzies, Kiwis and Brits too to name just a few. And as JB alluded to in his post, Canada on the world scale is not a big player. How can we be. We have fewer people living in Canada that there are in California. About 1/10th the population of the country. We are not USA's most powerful ally, but I will argue, we are probably one if not its most loyal. Because of geography, we have to be. As does the Americans to us. We depend on each other that way. That is what makes us good neighbours. Some will say good neighbors.

Eight P.M. cannot come soon enough as far as most here are concerned. That fukken rose ball needs to be sent to the school of hard knocks and learn to be a leader. Cause he sure isn't our leader. I think he was coddled far too long by his mommie, Margaret, wife of former PM Pierre Trudeau, and bitch to Mic Jagger. Sleazy bitch. Both Maggie and Justina....errr Justin

My post was actually not meant for Canadians as much as people from the other side of the pond, though it admittedly was not obvious. After a long time of reading this forum and another one, Brits (or whatever they are) are obviously very condescending, proud with little basis, and patronizing people in general, especially towards Americans who are directly responsible for them not speaking German today. BTW, when are you going to pay the U. S. back for the lend/lease program???

I call many Canadians my friends but no Brits my friends. That doesn't mean it won't happen but it hasn't as of today. I've worked with them unsuccessfully and just quit trying. I don't have time for it in my business. I really don't see why Canada recognizes England with a sovereign Queen and monarchy. Same with Australia. Monarchies have wreaked greedy havoc in the world for centuries upon centuries. Just not lately due to a lack of power and influence. The muslims in England have the power now but, not to worry, they have a lot of very lethal enemies.

Concerning an indirect swipe at Donald Trump, I don't personally like him but he does care about the citizens of the U. S. I'm sick and tired of my tax dollars being given to our enemies and other countries that are lazy and feel entitled. If they want to be a country, they need to get to work and earn it.

I had a great VFR ride today in some of the most scenic and challenging mountains in my great country. If/when I decide to get rid of my VFR, it will be just another day considering what other great bikes are out there. Walk softly but carry a big stick......

This I believe was broadcast during the 2010 Olympics by one of USA's most respected broadcasters. He makes mention of many tings that most people are not aware of. Including many Canadians.

The winning of the Second World War was a collaborative effort of the Allied Forces. USA's becoming directly involved was vital for the success. There is not question they made a huge difference in the outcome. But they did not win the war for us. I seriously doubt that if they were fighting this war alone, they would have won. It took our all to win that one. Including the Soviet Union who were our allies at that time.

I am by no means a Monarchist. But we are a Parliamentary Monarch in Canada. The Queen of England is not hour head of state. The Queen of Canada is. Just so happens she is the same person. Personally, I would like to see Canada rid itself of the Monarchy. It serves no benefit to Canada. However, Canada is also very closely tied to Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand and many other countries around the world. We are members of the British Commonwealth. That would explain why we were involved in WWII earlier, in 1939. The day after Britain declared war on Germany, so did Canada. I believe Australia was about the same time.

Oh dear. Oh dear oh dear oh dear.
For someone who hates Brits so much, why choose one of the most famous literary and movie Brits as your username?
As to us speaking German, that old argument is beyond laughable.
You sound rather bitter old boy, have a cup of tea and chill.

    As far as I’m aware
The war debt was paid back in 2006. 12 years ago.

USA also tripled the price of sidewinders to UK during the Falklands conflict. Hey we just got on with it.

You obviously have a big chip on your shoulder over something related to the UK.

Maybe you should read a bit of history.

Most of all let’s get back on track. Why did Honda discontinue the vfr800 in USA?

I have worked with a lot of Brits over here and in the UK. I have had nothing but good professional work experiences and great social fun too. Dated a nice Lass (is that ok to say these days?) that grew up there and lives here now. I think every nation puffs out their chest when defending their country.

    VFR...... Very Fun & Ready.

    WTF, guys?

I've just stumbled across this thread, but..

Did Honda really discontinue the VFR 800?? Didn't they "just" update them for 2014 and made them basically more "future-proof"?

I mean, Honda can't just stop producing one of their flahships, especially considering it's the only reliable and affordable V4-engine on the market... :(

Honda is still trying to sell new 8th gens in the USA (it's listed on their USA website). I'd guesstimate there are twice as many new 8th gens currently for sale in the USA than the rest of the world combined :D

Yes 2014/ 15 models not 2018 edition. It’s shifting new old stock not new, new stock.

WHO has a chip on shoulder. When is the interest going to be paid? Answer: never. 2006...REALLY?? You're welcome for existing today. I knew the truth would hurt and that there would be diversions. Very weak defense when none is needed at all.

    ahh, understood.

So probably they stopped for some time and wait until their "VFR-surplus" has gone down, right?

007, you represent all that is wrong with Murica. Insular, arrogant and totally uninformed. America did not enter WW2 to help Britain or Europe, it entered because the Japanese bombed Pearl harbour.
We are welcome for existing today? Really? Please explain yet another ludicrous statement.
Sip that darjeeling and look outwards rather than inwards.

Why don't we just all have a beer. Ice cold or cool, I'll drink with our friends on the other side of the pond.

Excellent suggestion Gator - I'll be at Universal Orlando tomorrow so I'll be sure to drink a butter beer or two at Harry Potterville in honor of our overseas mates :D Think I'll try the hot one as the chick in this vid recommends - I've had the frozen one and it caused me to have instant brain freeze - LOL
