Anyone else talking RACING?! <--- of the motorcycle type

Ever watch the macu racing? Would also like to see the Gp boys on the superbikes doing a road circuit let alone a street circuit.

Wsbk were 1 second a lap down on moto Gp in nov testing at jerez

 

Obliquely racing related. The new Ducati Panigale V4 did the lap at Circuit Recardo Tormo in 1:35+ seconds. MotoGP track record set by Jorge Lorenzo is 1:29+ seconds. This is literally ahead of probably at least half of the grid, and it's a street bike with headlights and mirrors. That's truly incredible!! A $27,000 bike running MotoGP pace, where those bikes cost millions of dollars.


Oh Honda, by the way, Ducati top of the line hyper bike doesn't cost $185,000. Only $39,000 and it isn't neutered and it will kick that bikes ass!!!

in this weeks MCN Herve said it was ONLY for the Sepang test so Wonder who will actually have the ride for the season?

 

Probably an audition for Yonny. No pressure as he has only ever ridden Ducati MotoGP bikes.

 

I seem to remember a certain guy from Oz that did a similar thing and got ripped for it....then came back on another team and won a world championship

Not meaning to counter that statement but JL broke the track record at Sepang on Day 3 of testing. 1:58.830!

As much as I am not a JL fan, I would love to see him do well on the Ducati. Based on the testing numbers, looks like the competition this year might be even more tighter than last year.
