Saw Joe Satriani G3 concert last night, awesome.

 

I had planned on going all last year but plans changed.
I’m so jealous, that was probably one of the best concerts you’ll ever see

I have seen Satriani I think 7-8 times always amazed. But probably the bet concert was a 3 day festival that Clapton put on, 2004 Crossroads 3 day concert that I had press passes for. Leaning on the stage taking photos............ I watched the DVD's and saw myself and buddies that went with me a bunch of times. Have hundreds of really cool photos of these guys. An insane group of talent. And some of the jams sessions were amazing. BB King could not get enough of John Mayer and called him back on stage to jam with him, Clapton, Vaughn, Bramhall and others. I previously had thought that Mayer was just a pop singer but the guy wailed on the guitar, was very impressed with his skills. And watching Doyle Bramhall II up close was insane. He plays a right handed guitar lefty and strung upside down like Hendrix did, can't even fathom how they can do that.
