Dude on the HOG probably never even saw it. He is still riding on like nothing was there....word to the wise, "where there is one deer, there are usually others close behind."

Driving south through the desert East of Yuma proving grounds in Yuma, AZ I was experimenting with where the govenor in my rental SUV was on a long straight piece of two lane highway. I slowed to double digits as I saw yellow flashing hazards through the night ahead over the next rise.

I slowed down to see if everything was O.K. with the pickup when I swerved around the animal in the middle of the road the truck had just hit. Being from the East Coast I couldn't believe what I saw....

the animal was burro... like a mule from WW I ! It was like Mr. Ed was dieing on the roadway. The base MP's drove out to shoot it. Everyone was fine in the truck. I slowed way down. I guess the burros travel in packs too, the guy saw most go across the road ahead of him, but as he accelerated past the back of the herd, the one slow poke got smacked.

Now I know where burritos come from.

Watch it again. They both saw it. You can see the dude duck and tuck his head down. Some freaky sh**. Hope he didn't have to ride too long with soiled shorts. Typical, the guy on the HOG just kept going no need to worry about the Metric rider.
