Fork tube diameter on a 1st Gen interceptor 750

    Need help the fork swap I'm doing on my 500 need bigger handle bars to work because the forks on the 500 are smaller then the forks I am putting on it are the 750 fork diameters the same as a cbr 600 f3?

    If you're talking 1983-1985 VF700/750, they are 39mm. F3 are 41mm.

    1000F/R are 41mm

    The 39mm are unique to that bike. What really is irksome, is that the VF750F pre-production bikes were 41mm and they switched to 39mm for production. It was something the test riders commented on better feedback.
