    Lint,

I said elbow - NOT SHOULDER! That usually ends in pain as you are discovering..

The trouble with 'pushing' an old bus on the front end is it is likely to washout.... they are just too fat & heavy...

Nimble is not a word used to describe these bikes..

As long as your tyres were warm then adding the 2 psi wouldn't be the isssue.

I'm pretty sure I have the following:

    Clip on, left
    Rear Sub frame
    Tail light
    Windscreen (Givi Touring screen)
    Shifter lever
    Radiator reservoir bottle
    Left front blinker
    Levers
    Grips
    Left bar end weight

But before you get too excited, I need to get out to the shed and look thru my big box o' 5th gen parts to confirm. If I have and/or can find them, they're yours for shipping. I'll try to get out there by this weekend.

33/34 here and yes to the Corsas, you won't go back. Screw this mileage thing. I'd rather stay up right.

Yeah, I've come to realize that tires gripping the road are a really good thing. Not sure if I'll go the Corsa route, but Q3, S21, or their kind is something I'm definitely looking at. As I said above the cost of the S21 is hard to pass up!!!

I'll see how I feel tomorrow. If it's still as painful, I'll hit up the VA doctors.

Sorry to hear about the crash but if you were more familiar with the lower tire pressures you may have taken the turn at a level more appropriate for the lower pressure. Or, similar to my low side, available traction for your speed wasn't evenly matched. I can say if you're using the bike more for sport riding than commuting/touring, just get a sport tires and deal with the cost of tire replacement, in the long run it may just be cheaper, once you factor in the cost of repairing the bike! BTW, California Superbike School uses the Dunlop Q3+ on all their student bikes and run pressures of 31/29 (f/r).

Let me know what you need as I may have it...

    Thanks D.
I do think I out rode my front tire's traction. There's a good possibility I hit the paint stripe at lean and it was basically polished to a gloss because of all the trucks and trailers that turn there.
Learning experience. If I did hit paint, that's unusual, because I tend to avoid them, but it would make sense.

This is unrelated to the crash, but does anyone have a rear rotor? My brake was bound up for a while when I first got the bike and it chewed up the brand new Galfer wave rotor the previous owner had put on there. It's at the wear limit right now.

Well in my traditional fashion, my post isn't about what I did today but more about what I did a coupe of days ago. I was at Sonoma Raceway Monday and Tuesday doing some corner work for CSS and this is a video of one of my sessions on track. On this session there was a female student who had just got on the track before me. This clip is of me doing my "in lap" and following her around for a lap or two. I have to say, it was nice watching her ride the track but more so to see her improve over the two days.

    I hope you enjoy...
