It is going fucking nuts down here. Zombie apocalypse shit ready to happen. This is the big one that has been lurking to happen for decades. If it goes where they predict it will be the biggest natural disaster in the US by far. And FEMA is out of money from Harvey. Think Hurricane Andrew shit but on much much larger scale.

 

Congress could/would allocate emergency funding for FEMA if the hurricane actually hits the mainland. Hopefully, it will decrease in intensity as it progresses. Stay safe and be alert for looters as well.

 

Protect your bikes from flying debris even though they are inside, a 2x4 traveling at 60 mph can go right through non masonry walls. Stay safe.

Looks like the first outer band just arrived in Orlando even though the eye is still about 400 miles away down by Cuba - not much wind here yet but it's raining cats and dogs now with lightning. It went from a light sprinkle to a deluge in an instant. Hopefully Cuba will weaken it (although I feel bad for the Cubans).

 

Nothing from Irma yet in Jax. We are having a northeaster just to get us ready. 20-30 mph wind and bands of rain expecting 2-3 inches before Irma dumps another 10-12 on us. You guys be safe and good luck..
