I sold my 91 RC36 three years ago and missed that V4. I just picked up a new to me 2002 6th gen. Staintune exhaust, helibars, Zero Gravity sport tour screen, and that lovely V4. Now I have to start farkling it again. Some side cases and I'm good to tour. Good to be home!

Welcome back! Is the seat an after market unit?

Welcome back. You can never go wrong with a VFR. I hope you got a good deal on that one. Otherwise you might be disappointed to learn that Fay has a new red 2014 Dlx like mine for only $7k. That's barely more than half what I paid 3 years ago...ouch!

BTW, if you have a need for a stock exhaust for yours, I have one sitting in my garage.

    Hey Dave!

I did get a good deal (<$3k OTD) from Rocky Mtn Kawi up here. It was between this and another one like it at G-Force Boulder. I considered the 7th gen but I kind of like the hi-mount pipes on the 6th gen.

Thanks for the exhaust offer but I think I'll wait on that. I have to find a stock rear fender or better fender eliminator first - the PO did some hack job on the license plate mount.

The shake down ride up 7 yesterday was nice, reminded me how stable and plush the ride was. Should be nice when it all gets dialed in.

Yup, a Sargent. Not sure if I'll swap it out or not; it's real slippery - might have to put tank grip pads to keep from sliding round.
