Actually it's just up on Palomar mountain, though I know HB does put a dB meter out on busy weekends (not a fan of their local PD.) 2014+ bikes have to have CARB approved exhausts, so you'd probably be OK. My 98 w/ Staintune is also quite the noise maker..

I cleaned and waxed the chain, inspected the sprockets and shocks. Then... doubled the total mileage I've ever driven XD

Just about 100 miles. Figured out the key to solving my chronic hand problems as well. Now I just need to drop the pegs, and get that suspension from D.M.

It was those teeth that bit you! Damnit! Since you did not state injury I am guessing only your ego was hurt or not.

Fix the clutch lever! Got into an argument with my old lady and got lit, then took my 93 out to the everglades. I took pictures otherwise i have total memory loss, came home and while i was waiting for the gate to open, i fell over. A neighbor helped me pick it up off the ground. Bad judgement on my part and very irresponsible. I will be better ; )

Well, I guess some of us have had this happen. Not a saint here in my early years. That is why I don't get near the bike when drinking any amount and hard to do. If I have 12 hours in between then hell ya! But Beer and riding are a thing of the past for me. It was fun, stupid and costly for me. Hope your pride heals quickly. I'm happy that you did not pass out and lay it down in the everglades. A alligator or Croc dinner you are not!;-) Take care.

Gotta squeezed by my brother's bike backing out... I just let go of it when it got going to the left. Was not even on.
Lost my marker light and the igniter for the headlights.
It fell over behind the cover of a parked car... so no one saw it

lmao And I thought short track nascar was quick! I've been on go kart tracks longer than that! haha Almost like watching a dog chase his/her tail... I'm pretty sure I'd fall off the bike from dizziness after like the 3rd lap...

Nice, nothing like that out here. Glad I didn't do the zero speed tip over with my 91, then it would have really hurt. Would have been visiting my painter fer sure.

I bought my 5G a new back wheel from Mr Highside. Not something I absolutely needed but it was too good to pass up. [IMG]

After getting my 6 Gen back from the dealer last night, took it for another short today spin to reacquaint myself with her. After not being able to ride for almost 2 weeks, it was getting really hard for me. Of course a little thing called vacation last week helped the hurting a little. And it actually worked in my favor as while I was enjoying the sun, beaches and outdoors the shop was busy replacing the scratched and broken bits. (Flashback photo)

Well sure enough Monday morning I got the call that the bike was ready and was I ever ready as well. The insurance check was actually waiting for me too. So I took that to the credit union in the afternoon and deposited it into my checking account.

I sure liked that they even have a parking spot just for me, although I was in the car at the time so I didn't park there...

Anyway, what I though would be a quick and painless drop off and pick up, alas was not the case. After they handed me the key and I told my wife she could head back home, I went to start the bike and low and behold, it wouldn't start! Arg! This is probably the number one reason why I prefer to do the work myself, but long story short it was easier to just have the dealer do the repairs, after all I was going to be on vacation and it was just cosmetic right?

Of course the first question out of their mouths was "When was the last time you started the bike?" My response, "The day I rode it over here about a week and a half ago. Ran fine all the way here, in fact it's been running better than it has ever run IMO." (true statement) Since they had to replace the front cowl stay, my first suggestion was to check the tilt sensor or perhaps the fuse but they said that was just checked and they were looking at other reasons that might prevent the fuel pump from working. So I called the wife, told her to turn around and come back to get me. NOTE: She wasn't too happy about that, too much stop and go traffic for her taste! I thought about telling her that if she rode a motorcycle she wouldn't have to deal with that but I refrained, as I hadn't eaten dinner yet and sharing the dogs food didn't sound appealing! Well, being that we had gotten there a little before closing, I decided to leave it overnight so they could figure out what was wrong.

When I got home, which was actually 5 minutes before they closed, I called and asked if they found the issue and if not what was the next step. He was happy to tell me that it was just a lose connector and once they reconnected it, it started right up. They did several start/stop/restarts just to make sure. Then they stuck the battery on the charger so it would be nice and charged and ready for me.

So the deal was that the dealer was to replace all the stock Honda bits and I was to replace the MRA windscreen and GIVI top case, which was mutually agreed on by me and the service manager. I actually ordered the top case Monday morning before even hearing that it was ready and by morning, I mean like 1 AM (I couldn't sleep for some reason). Low and behold, what greeted me at the door this morning? My GIVI top case! YAY! Thanks Revzilla, I sure do like you having that warehouse in Nevada, saves shipping time and CA taxes too!

So here she is back from the shop and almost 100% ready, still waiting for the MRA windscreen as I ordered that after I ordered the GIVI so I could use the Zilla cash toward that purchase. I saved $5 on the GIVI top case, as I had $5 Zilla cash waiting to use and then saved $15 on the MRA from the Zilla cash I received from buying the GIVI, then I got $5 again from the MRA purchase! They sure know how to keep you coming back huh?!
