    It'll come as no surprise to anyone who has followed his year so far that's he quitting, it was also announced yesterday that he's going to be a father so today's announcement just sealed the deal

    2 weeks ago he rode the Honda 250 six at Castle Coombe, he was quoted then as saying the main reason he signed up with Honda was to ride that machine...now he's done it he's off

    As for John McGuiness crash, Honda have said a faulty ECU caused his crash at the NW200 ....

    That is too bad, but as you said, very understandable with a little one on the way. I'm sure he will still be visible in some capacity of racing. Always loved watching and listening to him talk, not to mention his all-natural hairdo.

    Too much time passed between rides. Wasn't close to competitive. Smart choice, he doesn't need to be doing it anyway. His record is more than enough to deserve serious props. Hope he does more TV now.
