    Here we go again :p

Supports fabbed up and test fitted, made of solid 6061 aluminium. Bottom CBR mounts match up with top VFR mounts.

    Off to the welders:

Frame, subframe and swingarm back from welding and Hydroblast:

Bike rebuilt, looks like new :D

Stripped all the tape off the wiring:

Trying to cram it all in take 1:

By some miracle actually managed to cram it in:

Front wiring will stay much the same.

And finally a shot of the tail as it looks right now:

Super happy with how it's coming along, only problem I've found so far is the VFR frame seems to have a slight offset at the subframe mounts, nothing a couple of washers can't solve!

    More to come ;)

End of another day and as always its the good with the bad...

Wiring is all re sleeved and hooked up and she starts up fine :D

Sadly while we were testing it, heard a bang, blew the rear tail fuse and now I have no display on the dials :'(

Tested a couple of pins which should be getting power but aren't, open to all ideas otherwise looks like the wiring is coming back out.

Well ignore the last post, I'm an idiot, the new fuse I put in was also blown, crisis averted :p

Got the tail light and indicators all wired in, just need to get some new fuel tomorrow and I'll finally hear her sing again :)

Side note, I now have a ton of parts which I'm not using incl. an arrow slip on exhaust, subframe, pillion pegs, pillion handles, seat, rear fairing etc etc etc... Shoot me a pm if interested, I'll probably make a thread tomorrow.

Any progress here Seb? Looking great so far. Oh, I'm looking for a battery box if you have it left over.

No more progress so far as I'm overseas at the moment, will have a ton of goodies waiting for me when I return though :D

Pic related, it's the view :)

And yes I do have a battery box which I'm obviously no longer using, won't be able to send it till I'm back on the 7th though.

Well I was back briefly but now I'm off again, where do you find the time ughhhhh.

Anyway there's going to be plenty to do when I'm back, in no particular order:

    - Pair block off plates, eliminating the pair system will allow me to relocate the ecu to under the tank, freeing up a lot of space in the tail.

    - Spacing out the rear subframe correctly, needs to move a mm or so to the right.

    - Coil on plug conversion, got a set of 08 cbr1000rr coils, with a 10mm extension on the spark plugs they should drop right in.

    - Chain and sprockets back on, once this is done she'll be rolling again so I can take a short test ride :D

So yeah lots to do, should be a fun couple of days!

Bonus points to anyone who can guess what this is. hint, it's not for vfr ;) :

I'm back! and I've been busy:

Had a lightbulb moment with the front wiring, needs some tidying up but should fit under the headstock nicely:

Radiator ideas... would be nice to reuse one of the stock rads if I decide to do a front mount:

    Out with the old...

    ... in with the new:

CBR1Krr coil on plugs, pair block off plates and relocated the ECU to under the tank, just need to fab up a bracket for it now.

But probably the biggest achievement was actually cleaning the garage :p

In other news I will be moving states shortly, moving motorcycles is a logistical nightmare

    Well that was... easy

New coils are in, no modification necessary beyond splicing on the new connectors. She seems to start up even better now :)

That coils and pair mods for sure gave you extra space!

Sure did, going to be much easier to mount the ECU now. I'll grab a video of startup soon, once I've finished putting the chain and sprockets back on.

Arrived safe and sound. Work will probably slow down over the next few days while I sort my shit out.

Sadly we didn't have space to bring up the fairings so she'll be sitting naked for a while until I have time to retrieve them.

Late model VFR750 radiator with the left hose, will link right up with the standard cooling system, just need to figure out mounts.

I see an exhaust on the 500 Interceptor that should be extracted.
