Josh Hayes has no contract with Honda for 2008. He is said to be pursuing a ride with Yamaha for 2008. He rightly feels that his performances over the last two seasons warranted a shot at an SBK ride. I can't say that I blame him. I have nothing but respect for Miguel Duhamel and what he has accomplished throughout his career, but after the MotoGP incident and noticeable lack of recent race wins, it is only my opinion that, it is time to move on for Honda. Maybe they should rename the VFR, The Duhamel. As in - No change in 5 or 6 years.

Miguel is a great rider but yeah maybe his retirement is due. Then again Hondas has not really supported the SBK with a winning bike on the I-4 and doesnt seem to be interested. Maybe they are dumpin money at MotoGP?
