Hey Bubba, you know you can 'preview post' before you post it, to make sure you got any quotes and attachments right.

I like the soft bags, as they fit close to the bike and don't look so BMW-ish. I apply a piece of inner tube with vinyl tape on the cowling to protect the paint. When the trip's over, I just pull off the tape and store the rubber until the next time. Here's a pic of the protective layer:

It doesn't look so bad, it's a lot cheaper than the hard cases and it's worked for me for the last 200,000 miles or so.

Hawkhound, how much taller is that screen then the original? Big difference?
With that handle, are you a falconer?

    Pictures from today's ride.
Falconer no. Haha. Handle comes from part of the aircraft names that I work on in the Navy. E2 Hawkeye / C2 Greyhound.

The GIVI screen is roughly 3 inches taller than the OEM. Wind Deflection is good. IMO it is a big difference. I'm tall and with the OEM, the wind would beat me up pretty good. Nice upgrade.

I'll pull the OEM out of the box and take a pic so you can see the difference. [IMG]

Here are a few of my puig screen and flip up. Lasted 250 miles before I took it off. Severe turbulence to the extent I ended up with double vision.

See if this works from the phone.
This is with black vinyl wrap on the lowers. I like it. Might paint it. Debating doing a stripe an inch or so away.

Pics that wouldn't upload last night. Its the Puig touring screen with flip up. As much use as a chocolate fireguard.

Here's my VFR at the Corn Palace in South Dakota. I'm posting mainly to show my "Tourmaster Select Saddlebags" and "Eclipse RumblePack SeatPack" in answer to a message.

After seeing your a few months ago I was thinking the same thing. I would modify it a little not to copy you but it looks great. That red need a break on the body IMO. I may go in the direction of something black on the middle area above the lower. Thanks for the photo.

I knew gatorgregg did but did not know of anyone else. I think your attempt is better and Greggs is a little to much in a small area. I tried a vinyl sticker but again already said. To much in one area. Take care.

Bubba, were you at a cyclegear bike night in Phoenix? Or just other pics?

Also, on the comp, you should be able to click manage attachments, choose the pics, upload, then checkmark to add them inline. It will then put the relevant code, pulling the pics from your "attachment library".
