The little Frenchman thought he could muscle by the Yamaha team and the R6's punted him off the track. lol Yeah even the 600's are great racing. The 1k's even better.

I think Chaz has won the last 4 races there, he was really in the zone. Chipped away a little bit from Rea but Rea had a great weekend too along with Sykes. Nicky......... The new CBR really seems to be a turd in just about every race scene.

Yeah, some riders seem to just gel with certain tracks, like MM seems to with COTA, and it's interesting to see just how much much a few 1/10's add up over the course of the race.

I think that Rea will win the title this year but next year will be Chaz.

No way of knowing, but DORNA is setting up for another switch to spec electronics for WSBK 2018 or 2019, mimicing what they have done in MotoGP. That will favor some, but who they are remains to be seen.

Especially when Chaz went on a tear at the end of the season. Next year might be the year for him.

But Rea is still the guy to beat.

Well if Rae wins again this year, looks like he'd be the first three-peat I believe. Fogerty had 4 Championships and Bayliss had 3 but both had gaps between the overall wins. Hmm, might see history this year but since it's so early in the season, who knows what the final will be.

It would be cool to see history made. But there is a lot of racing to go.

According to onlookers, 36-year-old Hayden – who is a keen cyclist – was riding with a group of fourteen others when the incident took place. It has been reported that he was involved in a direct collision with the car, and that the collision saw Hayden thrown over the bonnet and into the windscreen.

Ambulances and medics on site treated the injury as life-threatening and he has now been transferred to a hospital in Rimini where he is being treated for severe chest and head trauma.

Photographs from local newspaper, Rimni today, show the full extent of the damage to both the Renault and to Hayden’s bicycle.

The car windshield is well caved in, medics are calling his injuries critical

That is not good. Its crazy that you can go hurtling down a track at over 200mph then get yourself killed going 15mph. I see more bicycle injuries ans deaths on the road than motorcycles it seems.

My guess is that this could potentially be a career ending injury. A full recovery is the most that can be asked for at this point.

Was thinking and praying Nicky comes out of this, but even hopefully that happens, odds are he won't have the same mind set . hope I'm wrong in any case this will be a long recovery process. Gods speed.
