Thanks SML.. Not a whole lot, just a re do of the rear Penske shock, it has a weep or slight seep. in the adjustment bands, so it's going back for a going over. While that's outa the way, I'll be throwing on the 2Bro header. and if I can stand not knowing how much hps it's putting down right away, might as well rip the link brakes off and replace them with what should be there in the first place. So not too much.

Awe , yours is messier. That water that was crossing the road there was like 3-4" deep an actually moving right along to boot . I almost got a shot of a car going through it, but figured I best get myself and the bike out of a wet way. Then knowing theres' at least two more low spots like this, besides the fact there was a sign saying water over roadway, Doh!! There was a very good chance there was this scene again a few times further down the road.

I ran out at 51km after it started flashing.
Got carried away with my mates on a good road, I knew I was going to cut it fine, ended up 20km short of the servo.

My gauge was flashing when I was approx 25 km from home. I didn't risk it. I stopped at the pub and refuelled at the bar also asked the barman could I refuel the Moyorcycle from a jerrycan, she needs a drink too. It all worked out perfectly! :witless:

Thanks OZ VFR for letting us know the reserve distance.

Good to know Oz thanks, 31 miles for us here on the other side. Disclaimer; mileage may vary depending on where you're at and how your hand works.

Started working on a license plate frame, hand dremeled from a sheet of 1/8" G10. I don't have a proper work area or bench so I think it might end up looking like something out of the Flintstones lol.

Mickey moused possibly the cheapest "tail tidy" evah! (Temporary fixings until I receive my Feniex Cobra T3 - additional brake light - and can finally complete my bracket)

Put on some HRC stickers, tank protector, and grip panels - slowly making the bike Mine.

    And for fun:

ETA: ended up not using that plate frame, ended up going with one of these:

took the light off and rebent the metal to change angle

Got the first ride of the year. Put on some easy miles to scuff in the new tires and let the chain run in a bit.

Since I'm going to install a RK chain it tomorrow, I thought I'd check out their info on how they want their chain cleaned. I did the following on their website:

Link to their PDF on chain maintenance: http://rkexcelamerica.com/assets/1461079033a68e02b1b46743bafb1f09a74a0687b3.pdf

Went on a memorial ride for an OCMoto member who passed away on 3/22/17. His name was Bren Bouza AKA "RedRiderForLife". Didn't know him personally but he seemed like a cool guy from reading his post. RIP Bren

I replaced my old chain and sprockets with a new chain and sprockets. I went from a 17/43 to a 16/43. 16/43 was what the dealer said was stock so i went with that. I took it for a short ride and I can't tell much difference. The old set was well past its sell-by date with noticeable cupping on both the front a rear sprockets.
