In the post race 1 interview JR looked distinctly unwell, he's got some kind of flu so wasn't 100% himself .... still outstanding riding

Both him and Sykes had the flu and Sykes had food poisoning too. Tough bastards.

BSB results, Kawasaki 1st both races, Ducati 3rd and 2nd

The Ducati was on that Kawasaki for the whole of both races, Honda were there making up the numbers again

Michael Dunlop also raced, 13th well behind the Hondas so looks like that Suzuki needs work to make it a TT winner, I hope it works out for him

Michael Dunlop will race the all new GSX-R1000R in Bennetts Suzuki colours at this year’s Isle of Man TT after signing a deal to remain with his trusted Hawk Racing squad.

The 13-time TT winner’s future has been the subject of much speculation over recent months, with questions raised over whether the Ballymoney racer would opt to race a brand new bike again after the problems he suffered with Milwaukee Yamaha and the new R1 in 2015.

However, Dunlop has once again put his faith in the father and son team of Stuart and Steve Hicken, who have bagged factory support from Suzuki’s Yoshimura racing arm for the 2017 North West 200, Isle of Man TT and Ulster Grand Prix.

A couple of surprises there John.

Sylvain Guintoli (did not know he was racing the series) much better on the Suzuki than Dunlop and John Hopkins is still around. lol

So that's where Haslam, Giugliano and Guintoli went. Wow, I thought Hopkins was long since retired. I see he's on Ducati, I guess he got tired of Suzuki.

I'm not sure if I posted this link before but a while back I asked Ken Hill if I could share his pod casts on here. He posts on a private forum I have been on for a long time and is always giving free advice. A bunch of the guys on the forum have been to his Yamaha Championship school and loved it. He does these pod casts for free and unsponsored because of his love of the sport and he is an excellent teacher. So here is the link with loads of info. You don't have to be a track guy to use or understand this info but if you are its even more valuable.
    Enjoy.
