Any suggestions on how best to clean the insides of increasingly manky Leather pants ?

Have had my current Tiger Angel SP Leather pants for 4 years and while have treated them with a regular Leather conditioner / feeder keeping them looking good on the outside the insides are getting a bit stinky more than light wiping with warm water or aerosol spraying with hospital grade anti bacterial anti fungal spray can deal with.

On commutes wear waterproof & washable Cordura Gortex pants but the Leathers are far more comfortable for touring and safer when fanging.

Cheers for the link has some helpful tips as for their product suggestion I'm a bit worried using Mink oil will have Peta's Pamela Anderson after me.

Serious though already use a good Leather conditioner that has kept the outside looking smick, after 4 years its the inside of the pants that are getting a little stinky. :faint2:

 Manky & Fanging don't normally go together in that way:

" Manky " is mostly UK slang meaning scruffy, dirty and/or distasteful but I like using it as it discribes a picture of being stinky that is both short & universally descriptive.

" Fanging " on the otherhand is Aussie slang and means driving / riding fast with style. The word " Fang " as in " Fang it " or " Fanging " pays homage to the great '50's Formula One legend Fangio who could drive fast with style.

I grew up playing ice hockey and that gear created some of the worst funk I've ever smelled. I've discovered the same sports gear "refresher" products work great for moto leathers, too. You can normally pick the stuff up at Big 5, Sportsmart, etc., and it's down right cheap. It comes in a little spray bottle, around $4 US dollars and it's sold under a few different names but it's all similar stuff.

No problem to me just prefer the sound of the UK slang word " Manky " however don't see why I couldn't use " Stanky ".

How would Stanky be pronounced in different US States ie as StanGky or StAnKy ?

I think Manky Fanging might be the perfect way to describe my attempts to ride fast or with style. I was a poet and didn't even know it.

I think we could start a great slang translator. Someone just needs to bung it in the wiki.

I think I'll continue to putt-putt along my commute and avoid eating at Outback Steakhouse prior to posting on the forum

I was trying to say I don't ride that fast because ... well.... you said it
