My first tour on the 8th gen - Scotland

One of the main reasons for buying my 8th gen last year (with the luggage set) was to get out and do more miles plus do some touring.

Although we have some fantastic roads here on the Isle of Man you can ride the whole Island before lunch !

So, a week long tour around Scotland has been planned and booked - the summer can't come soon enough !

This will be my first tour that's longer than a long weekend, the days vary from 150 miles to 250 miles a day.

Route includes: Glen Coe, Isle of Skye, Applecross Pass, North Coast 500 (not quite all of it !) John O'Groats, Balmoral, Forth Bridge, Edinburgh and a lot more I'm sure.

It's gonna be a long four months waiting for this come around .....

 

Be very, very, very wary where you park your bike if staying in Edinburgh, or even if parking for a few hours.

Excellent. Give me a pm when you are here, may be able to meet up at an overnight stop if I'm off shift.

 

the trip seem fantastics. You may be willing too visit some distilleries on the way...
