If you would have $350 would you spend it on a Sargeant seat or a set of Helibars ... 2007 Candy Red VFR mostly used for a 70+ mile daily commute with about 90% freeway occasional weekend twisties.

I'd vote for the seat I think you'd benefit more comfort wise; the way I ride the freeway is my left hand on the tank right hand on the throttle most of the time except in heavy traffic. So I get little wrist & shoulder strain w/ that kind or riding, the seat would worth more to me.

I've never had any issue with the seat or the handlebars. I don't lean my weight on my wrists. I clamp the tank with my knees and use the large muscles in my back and legs to support my weight.

So I'd just pocket the cash.

First choice I would donate it to an orphanage (aka strip club) so those poor girls can buy some decent clothes to cover their bare bodies....

Second, choice...hell, I would spend it on more orphans....what can I say...I love to give!!

+1 for sargent seat. My ass always hurts way more than my wrist.

I have Helibars and would rather have a better seat. I'm thinking of taking the Helibars off this winter and selling them to get a Sargent seat.

I'd vote for the seat. Kinda depends on which is bothering you more though, I'm lucky in that both the seat and bars are fine for me.

...then again, I like derstuka's options as well.

well I guess that doas it ... probably the seat will be. I have no problems with my seat or wrists as I use my back to support myself. A couple of weeks ago I had a 130 mile ride (lots of twisties) and the only thing bothering me at the end was my back side.

I do have 3 kids so there is a lot of donated money to kid stuff .. however I like to surprize myself from time to time... Thanks guys.

Suspension - one of the best improvements you can make to your bike to improve your ride.

NEP throttle lock , GenMar raiser already installed.. I guess the Sargent take priority... .

The reason I am debating between these two is hat I was debating between ST1300 and VFR800 when bought he bike. My lovely do not ride with me so tere was no reason for the extra weight of the ST1300. I already bought/ installed hard cases for the bike and to make it mor touring probably seat and handlebar will be changed (MRA Vario sport touring screen already installed).... unless tere wil be a miniST soemthing like the Deuwille the VFR will be my miniTouring bike...

What I also like about the VFR is that when I take the bags of, put the seat cowl on and swap the MRA Vario touring to the ZG dark smoke screen I have a weekend tewities fun bike .. so easy to go from touring/sport to sport/touring in less than 10 minutes.
