She did complete the course with my son a few months ago,,, been riding a Ducati 620 multistrada, until now, she is very proud of her bike being faster than my 1999.

    Hi Misti,

I have a question for you and the rest of the finer gender riders here. I think I may have convinced my wife to buy a VFR. She currently rides a CBR 125 and so is very much learning how to ride first. She is light and has no problem getting good highway speeds out of the CBR, can lay on the tank at highway speeds to get out of the wind and get a little more power, can shift properly to compensate for hills and other than acceleration from the stop generally can keep up with me (If I ride conservatively). She is also learning to corner with her body weight shifted and knee out - thus keeping the bike more upright through turns at speed. Up until recently she had been thinking of a CBR 500R lighter, less HP, and more expensive than the VFR (as most CBR500's are newer). So my curiosity is on how you would approach the subject. I think she will easily grow into the VFR with a bit of time. She stand 5'6.5" and weighs 120 pounds soaking wet. I know that the weight of my bike was a little bit to get used to (06 VFR) but once one respected it and found the leverage points it became an easy thing to be confident with. However, going through the exercise is a stretch and will likely be more successful with some helpful hints from experienced female riders. Thanks in advance for your kind guidance in this area. Cin Cin! :eek:nthego::eek:nthego::confused:

Before you practice get a set of the crash bars he is using. LOL. He didn't get that good without ever dropping it.

I feel like there is a lesson in this thread, namely that it is a female VFR rider check-in that has devolved to a bunch of dudes talking about bikes and exes...

Yes, there seem to be a lot of male riders involved here.

The number of horny old dudes is directly proportional to the number of chicas here. SOWs shemales don't count.

Checking in really late to this discussion. New to vfrworld, not new to VFR's. Have a 2000 that I love, it is my 3rd VFR. Don't judge, but I also have a 2014 Harley in the garage. I love both riding styles but certainly get more of a rush when on my VFR!

To clarify, they do count on Harley forums as long as the number isn't higher than twenty.
