    Hi friends

I'm a french pilot of VFR, and I like custom my bike, unfortunately the regulations of my country is very strict, the motorcyclists aren't liked in our country

I have mods my speedometer, the color amber is very quaint.
I have disassembled the back cover, and the front, now the CI is seen.
With the solder-pen, I unsoldering the LED, and I remplace with the other color (blue and white)
3 blue LEDs for the RPM and 2x6 cold White LEDs for the screens.

    Look the pictures :

Ça a l'air bien. Où avez-vous acheté les LED? Je vais devoir le faire. Il semble vraiment beaucoup mieux que les couleurs ennuyeuses Honda.

Looks cool and I like it. Aesthetically at least. I am just curious though. Blue and white light I believe will interfere with your vision to some degree in the dark. Where as red and amber far less. Let us know how much this makes a difference when you ride at night. This as the reason who in most places, with the exception of licence plate light, white light is illegal to the rear of a vehicle.

Nice work though. In my truck, the instrument cluster has 6 stepper motors for the 6 different gauges in there. If one gauge stops working and you go into a dealership, they won't replace the stepper motor. They only replace the cluster to the tune of about $700.00 for the cluster then 1 - 2 hours labour. So I ordered a package of 6 stepper motors and have replaced 4 of them so far. 6 stepper motors cost about $17.00 The job took about an hour for each time I had to make a change out. I have one or two LED lights out in the cluster I am intending on replacing in the truck someday too. I am up for it. But they are presently on the blue hue and I am thinking I might change them all to amber.

Reassure you, the lighting doesn't tire eyes in the night, the beam of lighting is decreased thanks to filters present of origin in LCD screens and the RPM
