$275 for two tone and clearcoat.
Worth it IMO just to get rid of the black.

^ F winter, been there done that. Your tougher than me now, I do have to walk through a 30 degree freezer to get to lunch with just a short sleeve shirt though every day and it sucks out loud. Sold all my electric stuff along with a great one piece Hein Gerricke thermal suit before I moved to a riding paradise (South FL.)

I installed some hose clamps on one of my gen3 bikes. Other than that, I rode it to work the other day.

Stuff the electrics, have never used them...

I've been using my 'summer gloves' for the last few years 'all year' round to allow me the feel. Sure my hands get cold - lol but my commute isn't so long that I care about it..lol

    However,
I'm all for a warmer place... Tyres were definately squirmy this morning.. both ends felt fairly loose - lol

Ordered a pair of Aerostitch elkskin gloves for the rider. The VFR was telling me to just do it and get some class.

Wow, nice on two accounts, Piper cross fully credited the damaged air filter I got from my son, even though it was a shipping problem. then they filled us in on I could keep it and that it would probably roll out, so for the last couple days I massaged it back in shape, looking good win win. Now for some exhaust tubing.

I see that the product in it's self is top notch. Wonder what it is about no other filter manufature here state side can grasp how this is, ain't rocket science. Now as far as the company goes, Hell yea, they're cool too. They will get my backing

That's good to know. Decent product and a company that stands behind it.

And rumor has it that's the air filter to unleash the full factory power of your bike, so you'll have that going for you. Which is nice.

Got the bike back in hover mode. Having issues installing the rear shock, got it used on ebay from a gentleman who bought two and installed one but not the other and sold it unused. I'm sure Jamie would help me out, but i'm hoping the seller can answer my question or with some googling or a just a solid night of sleep and a fresh mind i'll figure it out. Super cool lookin shock, that's for sure.

Stock shock has a right angle on the hose coming out of it, DMr one sticks straight out.

Stock shock points the hose this way but is at a right angle so there is plenty of clearance. I might be doing something wrong but i'm pretty sure i have to make the hose come out of the right hand side of the bike

I think i could stick it out of the right hand side if i trim the front corner of the battery tray possibly, and space my battery up to clear it. I just want to double check before i go slicing and dicing my factory goodness.

Ebay ad bike has the reservoir on the left side it looks like, heavily modified though so who knows how it is routed. Will update when i find out more...

Ah well, one joy of owning more than one VFR is i was still able to enjoy a nice ride this morning before coming home and getting started on the 86. Any excuse to get me out of the house for wings is good by me.

Yesterday I went to the only tire vendor I'll ever visit, Wheels in Motion in Canoga Park, whom I've been using for over six years now, to get a new T30 EVO up front. The old one had 7700-ish hard miles on it and was down to the wear bars off center, as I always brake into turns to load the tire, (thanks YCRS).

I rode in and waited around a bit while they finished some bikes ahead of me. After a while the service guy comes up to me and says, "we have a small issue." I immediately think they found a problem with my bike. As we walk back to service, the guy starts explaining that they are out of the T30 front tires and they have a couple of options for me. One was a BT016, one was a 023, both new and the third on was a slightly used T30 EVO. They offered the EVO for free, I just pay install. The offered a 90° valve stem as well and rechecked the balance of the rear also. All in, it cost me $35 and I have a front that works fantastic and will last me until I wear out the rear, at which time, they get my money for a whole new set.

Their prices are what's been keeping me coming back, cuz no one can touch them, even online. Customer service like this is going to keep me as a customer for as long as I live in SoCal. I love this place!
