Have seen these on eBay several months ago--http://www.ebay.com/itm/KT-LED-Angel-Demon-Eyes-HID-Headlight-Assembly-for-Honda-VFR800-2002-2012-Blue-/302036889654?hash=item4652cd3036:g:5ZoAAOSwV0RXqYWO&vxp=mtr.

My lenses are super scuffed. I will try to buff them out, but one does have a broken clip on one of the lower beams, sooooo...

I do know they are knock-offs of what a gentleman performed on one of his bikes or maybe even a joint effort, dunno.

Am concerned, because in the listing, the stock lighting looks better! There is much more detail in the lower region. The light temperature is so high that it also appears that the middle is just too hot, maybe even so much as to cause a glare. I sure would not want to miss any detail on the road, especially with the type of hazards we have on our two lane roads!

Basically, anyone purchased these? There is a website that lists these as well, and I've been curious for quite some time.

    Yup, thanking all again!

Yeah I've got a coupla three four sets of those KT projector headlights currently sitting on my parts shelf.

No help as to how effective they are Ridnout because I haven't gotten around to installing them yet.

Clicked on that link, the picture that shows the complete wiring harness looks like an afghan tribal chart.

Stoshmonster, these are complete left and right assemblies--backing, projector leds, lenses as a package. I sure wish someone would chime into this topic who has bought and installed them.

Yours look cool too! Will these require any cutting, or will you remove the lenses to install? I am surely curius.
    Thanks.

Hey yeah you're right,I completely missed that Ridnout. As NCB stated the wiring is a bit of a clusterfuck (gonna be a bit of a chore to get all that wiring spaghetti to look neat and pretty behind the side panels) but other than that this kit looks to be plug and play.
    Cool find dude! :thumb:

No cutting involved but I will have to remove the lenses from the housings with a heat gun to install these projectors. It's a slow, tedious process. Definitely one of those jobs you'd wanna do over the winter when you can take your time with it.

No kidding Norcal. Noticed that too. That's alot of wires and control units to hide.

Am I understanding this correct in that you get the whole assembly? There is lots of room in behind the cowls for the install of the ballasts and to tuck in those wires. The regular HID lights install fairly easy on the 6th gen. I had them on mine until they started clamping down on HID lights here as they are not CSA or Underwriters approved. Those do look cool thought and if you get everything to go, that seems to be a good price.

The reason the non projector HID lights are illegal here is that there is too much of a glare and there are no prisms built into the lenses to disperse the light. I did find that the LEDs were quite bright and were pretty good for night time highway driving. But where there is already street lighting around, that much light is not needed.

I had HID on my truck too, but the problem with that is when the HB were illuminated, the LB extinguished and visa versa. On a dark highway if there was an on coming car and I had to dim my lights, basically I drove with no light for a few seconds because it took the HID about 17 seconds to fully warm up.

I switched back to incandescent lights when I was stopped for having the HID and am happier with these than the HID. I switched to piaa lights which are a bit brighter than the OEM

Too complicated and unreliable for me to make the switch. The halo does look cool though. I'd be happy having LED replacement bulbs to replace the halogen low beams.
