Body part?

    Dumb question looking for smart answer, between tank and cowl appears to be a bracket, left and right sides, with mounting holes that was designed to mount something? Have not been able to get an answer from local shop, or any diagrams. Being the only 2nd gen in town haven't found another to compare with. Help

    having trouble attaching photo to mssg, look in rmy photo gallery. I've posted pics of bike and area that is missing the piece.

    There is a fill panel that goes in there. It fills in the area between the gauges and the end of the fairing by your knees so you don't see all the mechanical stuff in there.

    Thanks Bear, that was my only guess but have had no luck finding it on a parts diagram. Anyone know where to find one???

    Looks like both are discontinued. You can find the parts in the Cowl section of the parts fische.

    Bob, thanks...I think. Problem I had was with size of pic, too many m..k..bites? Take into consideration that my first computer classes involved PUNCH CARDS !!! (not kidding) Next up was Basic and Fortran.
