I'm still wet from ocean with sand in muh toesies.

I have a story to tell!

    Stay tuned...

Dang girl, you rode my biatch so hard that he is broke down and out of commission for two weeks! I usually make my best money for him around the holidays too! I'll let it slide because you really blew your wad on him last night.

    Welcome to Cali loca chica!

Pretty sure Scuba could use a woman's touch Derstuka.

While AM is out there visiting maybe you could ask her to instruct him in the finer points of how to properly accessorize because fer da cripes sakers his shoes just do not go with his tiger stripe outfit at all.

Just made it to Lints a while ago. Spectacular views to Moorpark! I also experienced the 405 traffic. I didn't care about it though. This tourist was in awe the whole time.

    Sooooo....the story...

A couple months ago I knew I'd have this week completely free. Knowing I'd go stir crazy sitting around, I started thinking of where I could ride moto on a trip. The SW was the answer. BUT, I could not make it a go until time was closer to see what the weather was to do.

I freaked out soooo much when I saw the 10-day forecast and I knew I'd be coming!!

Made a few contacts out west and headed out this past Monday! I took my traditional random stranger QT pic and off I was to New Mexico!

I knew I'd run in to cold weather, so I packed layers, heated vest zoom-zoom gave me, and heated pants and jacket a friend loaned me. I also put on the armor of grit knowing I'd be in some crazy temps for extended periods of time.

I was originally going to head south through Dallas to I-10, but that route would have added 400-500 miles extra. Instead, I knew I'd be chilly in Albuquerque taking the I-40.

But when in situations that aren't ideal I just remember...nothing lasts forever but death...and I'd rather feel alive! So...bring on the cold and whatever else this trip would have for me!!

Ooops...last part of post didn't go. Tapatalk maybe didn't like the length?

    Anyhoo, more Posts will come...Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, Day 4.

    For now I'll leave this:

Stuka, I rode your Longest Dong so hard and wyld that it will need a break at least until the new year. There was some voyeurism happening too...I took those earnings for my share. But I double dipped because I loved it just as much. If you want that cut back...come and get it. :) 20161229_111447.jpg

    Day 1

On Monday I left Doodah and all the cold behind, to ride through more cold, with the destination of CA.

    20161226_115824.jpg

My destination was Santa Rosa, NM for camping that night. The riding went smooth even though it was extremely boring through Western Kansas and the panhandle of Oklahoma and the tip of Texas. Moto turned 26 in Texas! I hit New Mexico border a while after sunset.

    20161226_181620.jpg

The whole ride was between 39 and 41 degrees, except for getting into Santa Rosa...it was in the low 30s for about an hour. I stopped at a Dairy Queen for warm eats and treated myself to a night of camp at this awesome spot.

I was cold, but as soon as I warmed up in tent I was snug as a bug. I slept hard and woke up to this beautiful sunrise!

Hoping to get back home in time to see you before you head out. Sitting at the restaurant bar having another martini wishing I was home! I hope Long and Lint show you the good roads before the rain!
